The title for this blog is taken from Acts 1:8, "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be my witnesses... to the end of the earth." This blog is about the witness of faith through the power of the Holy Spirit in the world today. The above photo is of the friars on the Sea of Galilee recording video reflections.

After working for several years in the professional world, he entered the seminary to begin studies for the priesthood. Since 2007, Fr. John has served as pastor at Our Lady of Good Counsel in Plymouth, Michigan.
Father talks to us about what has been effective in transforming his parish into a model for the new evangelization in new ministries and reaching people. Father also talks to us about the role his parents played in their witness to the faith (his father was also the CEO of Chrysler). We conclude with a discussion on Ephesians 5 and the Christian understanding of marriage.
